Wow, time flies! You spent your 2nd birthday in Canada ( Daddy's pic on the cell phone) with some real family well you Daddy was in Afghanistan for the 3rd time. We moved to Cameron, North Carolina in the spring of 2012 because your Daddy got stationed at Fort Bragg.  We arrived, spent 2 weeks finding a house and another 2 weeks of moving in and off he went. Deployment time. So, we spent the summer in Canada, 2 and a half months.  It was great to spend time with all your cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Nana's, Papa's, Baba's....even got to see Granny B just before she passed. We went to the memorial, was a sad time.  Long life, 92.

So Daddy got home in September and in October he got leave and Baba came down to look after you and Katie K while Mommy and Daddy went to Jamaica! You have officially been weaned! You are also using the potty full time...so proud of you Jimboy! Undiaper trained faster then Katie cause I know how to do it now. However, I won't be using that learned skill anymore...no more sisters or brothers for you and Katie K. Going to stop with the million dollar family! I love it and you both so much:) Kisses.

Up you go!

Hi Jimmy, we've been a very busy little family so I don't get into doing media things very much. I meant to write about 2 months ago that you stood up. Two days ago you and Kate were playing in the play kitchen. She turned to me and said "Mommy, look what Jimmy did" and proceeded to shuffle in a funny manner a couple of feet. Yes, you took your first steps. We knew it was coming. It is so entertaining to watch a little person walk!

Some things about you. You eat everything! You're very exploratory...a nuisance around plugs! You have a beautiful head of hair and killer eyes that people comment on all the time...even strangers in Walmart! You have used the potty when I take the time to put you on it! You are in cloth part time...just made a prefold out of a receiving blanket...more to come! Last week you met your Grand daddy Kemp and Grandma Mai for the first time when we went down to Clearwater for a few days. You hung out in the resort pool on the gulf in a rubber car floaty. We are so lucky, you are a very laid back baby.

So, for your information, we went home to Canada for the holidays. You met all of the family, including Grandma Bainbridge...she is 96 or so. Almost 100 years before you she was born. We drove up and then back to our home in Shalimar, Florida, right near Eglin AFB. Your Daddy is a Ranger Instructor down here and we have a year of the tour left. One day we hope to maybe retire in this house which we bought last year.

You are currently napping. Kate is playing with plato, Daddy is in the garage and I'm doing little things trying to make my "to do" list smaller. Well, this helped shorten it!

We love you Jimmy

Jimmy

So sorry I haven't posted li'll guy. You are great. Today was an awesome day, you're over 3 months now. Woke up early and you and I did some yoga. Nice. Kate woke up and you went down for a nap. We ate breakfast, coloured together, made instruments out of bottles, ribbons, stickers, food colouring and water. When you woke up Kate and I obtained the excersauser from the attic and discovered that you fit it perfectly!!

You are so big. Kate was tiny so it was very easy for me to hold her. I hold you all the time and go to physical therapy for it! Hahaha! Quiet baby...we are so in sync and speak the same language so I know when you're hungry! Today, during quiet time, I was reading on the bed while you were asleep in the bassinet beside me. Kate was quietly entertaining herself in her bedroom. The wind was blowing out side...felt like the breeze was coming right in the windows even though they were closed...so peaceful. I could see through the sheer white curtains in our long bedroom windows and felt the green outside turning brown. The peace that was there, the happiness of how I enjoy life and you and Kate was so beautiful. Nice moments like these are what life is all about. I love you Jimmy.
Your Mom,
Kim
